About Electric Diet

Plain answers to questions about the alkaline diet

Electric Diet answers questions about the alkaline diet and about eating for energy — what the diet actually claims, what the evidence says, which foods it includes, and how it compares to the other approaches people ask about alongside it.

What this site no longer is

Electric Diet used to sell supplements. It does not any more. There are no products, no shop, no pills and nothing to buy, and the pages that sold them are gone. If you arrived looking for a product that used to be here, it is not available and we cannot obtain it.

Where we stand on the alkaline diet

Honestly: the central claim does not hold up. Food cannot meaningfully change the pH of your blood, which your body regulates within a very narrow range regardless of what you eat. Where people do feel better on this diet, the likeliest explanation is the ordinary one — it pushes you toward vegetables, fruit, nuts and water, and away from ultra-processed food and alcohol.

That is worth saying plainly on a site with nearly two hundred articles about it. We answer the questions people ask, and where an answer is "this part is not supported", we say so rather than sell the premise.
